Independence Referendum by Text Message!

Young Scots for Independence, (YSI) the youth wing of the Scottish National Party have launched a referendum on whether or not Scotland should be independent. The website for the text message referendum is www.txt4scotland.com

To vote you simply text scot yes or scot no to an easy 5 digit telephone number, 60999. There will be running totals given in the year leading up to the 2007 Scottish Parliament elections. Each mobile phone number is only eligible to vote once. text messages cost 50p and usual network charges apply.

There has already been considerable media interest in this referendum with the BBC providing live television coverage of the launch.

Vote today and send a clear message that Scotland would be better off independent.
